Daniel Pugh-Bevan is an award-winning conductor, accompanist, coach, continuo player, and organist.
He is currently a Répétiteur Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music, having previously studied as a répétiteur at the Royal Northern College of Music and at Oxford, where he was Organ Scholar of St Peter’s College.
Engagements in 2025 include Carmen (RAO Opera), Peter Grimes (British Youth Opera / Cambridge Philharmonic), La Traviata (Preston Opera Company), and opera scenes with Sinfonia Smith Square. He has also collaborated on productions of La Scala di Seta, Snegourochka and Dido and Aeneas.
He has accompanied masterclasses and workshops with leading practitioners — including Edith Weins, Susan Bullock, Liz Upchurch, David Parry, James Platt, and Ben Johnson — and has appeared as Young Artist Accompanist at Southrepps Classical Music Festival.
Daniel has also conducted both Sinfonia Smith Square and the ensemble of British Youth Opera, and has directed choirs and liturgical music for many ensembles and organisations.
